(She/Her/Hers)
Angela Simon is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist and was born in Plumstead, England. She lived there for five years until her parents moved her and her younger brother to St. Vincent in the West Indies to build a life for them in Brooklyn, NY. She finally moved to New York at nine. She attended Boys and Girls High School where she built the reputation of always taking pictures. She went on to study commercial photography at LaGuardia Community College and earned an Associates in Applied Sciences. She still holds on to her love of photography and her keen eye. She went to school for aesthetics and loved it, but due to financial constraints, she had to put it in the back burner. She still plans on obtaining that knowledge. After working as a temp for a few years, she decided to go on to study pastry arts at The Art institute of New York City. She graduated on the deans list honor roll. She enjoyed a career as a pastry cook and then a pastry chef throughout New York City and Las Vegas for 14 years. After having her son, Aiden, developing allergies to a major ingredient she used in her profession, and realizing in that hours required for her to do her job was taking time away from her child, she made the decision to go to change careers. After researching the schools available in her immediate area, she decided on Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and studies Massage Therapy and Acupuncture. She plans on going back to school for aesthetics and working it into her practice. Angela continues to enjoy baking and seeing the look on people’s faces when they take a bite in this that she had made, now she enjoys the look on people’s faces at the end of a massage. She just enjoys making people feel good inside and out. Travel has always been a passion of hers and she loves to find places that are new for her and her son to explore. She is hoping that her career leads to more opportunities for her to travel. When not traveling, Angela loves spending as much time as possible with her son watching movies and exploring the beautiful city of New York.
